Broadalbin-Perth Cross Country

Today was a very good day for our girls as we were finally able to get back into the win column after three consecutive second place showings at our previous invitationals. The girl’s used our proven formula as they put individual accolades aside for the bigger goal of our team. They literally ran as one and were rewarded. The timing of today’s win was big for us as hopefully it restores confidence in our girls going into the championship part of our season. These girls are all good runners individually, but collectively they are great. Hopefully they will realize this at our next two meets. On the boy’s side we, unfortunately, were forced to run incomplete. Despite this the four ran as if they were fighting for a team win and their results rewarded their efforts. They ran very good times and set personal records. Today’s results make me very optimistic about our future.
