At the beginning of every season I give our team a motto to follow and this year that motto is "light the fire within". Today we attempted to start that fire and got a small spark. Despite some injuries and inexperience we showed enough to give me optimism for the upcoming season. A huge fire can start with just a single match and I am excited to see what today's small spark brings. I believe strongly in both my young boys' and girls' squads and think that they will all find the fire within as the season progresses. I am optimistic that they will do the work to ensure that we get better and our fire burns bright comes sectionals! Today was a great beginning to what could be an even better season!
