Today was a mixed bag of emotions and results for us. On the positive side, those who actually ran, ran well and showed their desire to win. Celina finally broke through with an invitational win; something I knew she was capable of, she just needed to realize it. Unfortunately, we had very few compete as injuries have plagued us this year. That, along with a holiday weekend, left us very short handed. As a result, our final team standings were not what we were hoping for. Hopefully, though, our extended weekend will allow us to heal and recover. In the end I am hoping that my team got the message: if we want to meet our ultimate goal, we need to practice and compete as a complete team!
