As a whole, I was very happy with today�??s performance. Despite missing some key athletes due to the A.C.T. we held our own and finished a respectable 5th (boys) and 6th (girls). More importantly, the majority of our team showed improvement from a week ago. That is all I can ask for. We are a young team, but we are getting better. On the boys�?? side, we ran as tight pack. As a result, each individual ran better. It is my hopes that this young core of boys continues to do this. In doing so I think this team could be very successful later on. On the girls�?? side, the A.C.T. particularly hurt us. However, this allowed some of our younger girls to gain valuable varsity experience. More impressively, they did so very well as most P.R�??d. Although we are not where we would like to be we are heading in the right direction.
