This year has the potential to be a very good one for us. Our boys have shown much improvement from a year ago and should be able to compete at every meet. Although we don�??t have any single elite runner we do have a pack of very strong runners that can put us on top. If they realize this and keep our top seven runners in front of other teams number five this could be one of B-P�??s best teams ever. The girls are young, but show much potential. If they can adapt to the 5K distance and develop the mental toughness it takes to compete at the varsity level this team could also be very good. Some of my best teams have been my youngest teams. Hopefully, this is the case this year. Overall, we have had a difficult past few years. It has been sometime since we last won a sectional championship or even been in contention. I am hoping that this year�??s squad is the one to return us back into contenders. They have the talent. Now they just need to realize this!
